Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Overeem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Madaski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overeem comes to the cage accompanied by Voices WWE. Madaski has chosen Work Hard Play Hard as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alistair Overeem! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Trent Madaski ! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Robert Douchet.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Madaski wants to clinch but Overeem slips to the side
and Overeem counters with a single leg into guard. Madaski didn't expect that. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Overeem stands up from guard. Let's bang! Madaski lands a right hook to the body.
Madaski is looking to clinch. Madaski misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Madaski misses with a takedown
and Overeem counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Madaski 's guard now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Madaski is trying to control the position but Overeem postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Madaski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Overeem gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Madaski has a closed guard, preventing Overeem from standing up.
Overeem gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Madaski tries to clinch up but Overeem circles away and keeps his distance. Overeem displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Madaski . Alistair Overeem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trent Madaski . Madaski misses with a takedown
and Overeem counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Overeem. Madaski trying to control the position.
Overeem stands and steps away. Madaski gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Madaski doesn't succeed with the takedown
so Overeem counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Overeem stands up from Madaski 's guard - Overeem perhaps looking for a knockout. Overeem looks for a takedown but Madaski sprawls well. Madaski fails with the takedown
and Overeem counters with a takedown into side control.
Overeem decides to stand back up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Madaski closes the distance but Overeem moves to the side
and Overeem counters with a shoot takedown. Madaski fights it but they end up in guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Overeem decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Madaski , up you get! Madaski dives in and grabs Overeem's left leg, looking for a takedown. Overeem pushes down on Madaski 's head and hops out. Madaski looks gassed!
Overeem looking to score a takedown here. Madaski is defending well but Overeem drives through and ends up in Madaski 's guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Madaski trying to control the position.
Overeem stands up and waves to Madaski to follow him. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Alistair Overeem dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Overeem fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Overeem stuffs the takedown attempt from Madaski . Madaski gets slowly back to his feet.
Overeem looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Alistair Overeem overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Madaski wants to get back to full guard but Overeem has passed into side control.

Overeem decides to stand back up. Overeem steps back and let's Madaski get back to his feet. Overeem shoots in but no luck this time. Madaski tries to clinch up
and Overeem counters with a nice double leg into side control. Madaski won't be happy with that. Madaski tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Overeem wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Madaski wants to control but Overeem postures up. Madaski tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Overeem stands up and beckons Madaski to his feet. Madaski misses with a few strikes there.
Madaski closes the distance and clinches up with Overeem, looking for a takedown. Madaski pushes Overeem against the cage but Overeem circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Madaski is looking to clinch but Overeem is avoiding it.
Madaski shoots and misses
and Overeem counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Alistair Overeem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trent Madaski . Madaski is breathing heavily.
Overeem stands up from guard. Let's bang! Overeem fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Madaski throws a sloppy head kick and Overeem moves out of range easily. Madaski shoots in and drives through. Overeem sprawls well. Madaski has his takedown stuffed
and Overeem counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Overeem.

Overeem postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Madaski to stand up. Madaski will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Alistair Overeem dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Madaski tries to land a front kick but Overeem steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Madaski thows a body shot but no joy. Madaski closes the distance but Overeem moves to the side
and Overeem counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Madaski 's guard now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Madaski wants to get back to his feet but Overeem is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Overeem is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Madaski can do to turn this around? Overeem preventing the sweep.
Madaski is working an open guard so Overeem takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Madaski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Madaski is trying hard to land a takedown here. Overeem sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Madaski takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Madaski throws a right hand that Overeem ducks under and follows up with a left that Overeem also avoids with ease. Alistair Overeem is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Madaski is trying hard to land a takedown here. Overeem sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Trent Madaski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Overeem circles away from the clinch attempt
and Overeem counters with a takedown into side control.

Overeem shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Alistair Overeem is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Overeem is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Madaski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Overeem shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Madaski napping and manages to drive through into side control! Madaski is looking for a sweep.

and Overeem counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Alistair Overeem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trent Madaski .
Overeem decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Overeem shoots in for a takedown but Madaski shows good takedown defense. Madaski has his takedown stuffed
and Overeem counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Overeem stands up and waves to Madaski to follow him. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that's the end of the fight! Alistair Overeem showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Overeem, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Alistair Overeem! Alistair Overeem opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
