The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wild shoots and misses
and McLachlan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wild with a poor takedown
and McLachlan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
McLachlan lands a slapping body shot.
McLachlan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wild moves away.

and McLachlan counters with a two punch combo.

Randell Wild seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A lazy left from McLachlan finds it's target.
McLachlan's corner calls for a 1-2. McLachlan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
McLachlan is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Wild had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

and McLachlan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
McLachlan takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Wild gets cracked with a nice right hand there by McLachlan.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Wild. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

and McLachlan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


Wild is rocked!

McLachlan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
McLachlan cracks a nice hook into Wild's ribs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McLachlan lunges at Wild with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wild's hand.
Oh Wild is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wild slips under a jab from McLachlan.
Wild seems to have got his legs back now.
Nice cross by McLachlan.
McLachlan works Wild's body with a nice hook.
Wild shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and McLachlan counters with a huge left! Wild is in big trouble! He's backing up but McLachlan isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Wild from any more damage. A dominating finish by McLachlan!
