Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taka Gominori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Schimling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gominori comes to the cage accompanied by In Flames - Take This Life. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gominori throws a right hand that Schimling ducks under and follows up with a left that Schimling also avoids with ease.

Schimling tries to clinch up but Gominori circles away and keeps his distance.

Schimling is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gominori knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Schimling shoots for a double leg takedown but Gominori sprawls well. He's pushed Schimling's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Gominori has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Schimling takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Gominori! Schimling is backing up but he can't get away as Gominori lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Schimling and ends the fight. Great knockout.
