Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Abott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eirik Raude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, David Abott! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eirik Raude! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raude with a poor takedown and Abott decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Raude's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Abott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Raude swivels though and keeps the full guard. Raude controlling the position. Raude is looking for a triangle but Abott pushes his legs off easily.
Abott wants to pass the guard but Raude is keeping the position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Abott's corner. There ya go! There ya go! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Abott throwing strikes but missing. Raude is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Raude controlling the action here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Raude thows a huge punch but Abott dodges it nicely.
Raude prevents Abott from improving his position. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Raude has eaten all the pies!
That's one minute gone in the round. Raude seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Abott is trying to get back to full guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Raude in particular looking to stall. Raude trying to control the action but Abott is working from the bottom. Raude is looking for a kimura here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Abott tries to roll over but Raude keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Raude not landing any meaningful shots this time. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Abott on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Abott tries to get out of the position. Raude trying to control from half guard but Abott is working away. Raude passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Abott! Raude tries to control but Abott wriggling away. Raude looking for a guillotine from mount but Abott is having none of it. Abott is looking to get to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Abott avoids a series of strikes thrown by Raude.
Raude with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Raude throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Raude throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Poor strikes thrown by Raude there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Raude tries to control but Abott wriggling away. Raude controlling from the full mount. Raude is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Abott to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Abott shrugs it off. Raude looks gassed! Raude looking to ground and pound but Abott is blocking nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Raude is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Abott can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Raude landing punches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eirik Raude dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Raude avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Raude tries for a takedown but Abott circles away easily and Abott counters with a nice double leg into guard. Eirik Raude has got the better of the ground game so far. Abott won't allow Raude to get back to his feet. Abott postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Raude has momentary wrist control but Abott slips an elbow through the middle. Abott with a flurry of punches that miss. Abott has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Abott is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Abott missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Abott trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Raude working a defensive guard here.
Raude has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. This has been an exciting period of action! Abott working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Abott trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Raude has momentary wrist control but Abott slips an elbow through the middle. Abott scoring with punches to the head and body.

Raude wants to sweep here but Abott controlling him for the moment. Abott postures up and lands a big shot to Raude's brow. Raude is breathing heavily. Abott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Raude swivels though and keeps the full guard. Raude has momentary wrist control but Abott slips an elbow through the middle. Abott avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Raude utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Abott postures up and lands a big shot to Raude's brow. Abott pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Raude is keeping the position for now. Raude has his foot on Abott's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Abott works his way back into a safe position though. Abott connects with a couple of short punches. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Raude working a defensive guard here.
Abott keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Raude's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Abott pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Raude is keeping the position for now. Abott stands up over Raude, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Abott looking to pass the guard. Abott scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Abott's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Abott postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Raude covers up, he's hurt! Abott keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Abott and the ref steps in to end the fight! Abott can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Abott! A relieved looking David Abott thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
