Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Vieira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guilherme Simao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Vieira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Guilherme Simao!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simao throws a leg kick which misses Vieira's front leg but catches the back leg as Vieira tries to avoid it.
Vieira misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Simao has a takedown stuffed.
Simao shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vieira but Vieira pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Vieira throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Simao's waist but Simao gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vieira off to one side.
Vieira closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Simao closes the distance and clinches.
Simao has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vieira avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
David Vieira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guilherme Simao.
Simao has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Vieira uses from the top position.
Simao looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Vieira puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Vieira is trying to control. Simao wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Simao is controlling Vieira's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Simao wants to control the action here but instead Vieira manages to pass to full mount!
Simao tries to hold on but Vieira postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vieira trying to control but Simao is having none of it.
Simao reaches up to try and control the position but Vieira seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Simao rolls and tries to escape and now Vieira has his back!

Vieira is trying to control but Simao is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Simao looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
Vieira working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
Simao trying to control the position but Vieira manages to sink in the hooks.
Simao is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Vieira is staying active.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Vieira trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Simao doesn't escape.
Vieira not allowing Simao to control his hands.
You can see the frustration on Simao's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Simao looks gassed!
Vieira has good solid back control here.
Simao is really stuck here.
Vieira is not going to allow Simao to sit and survive in this position.

Vieira is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Simao with him. Simao is trying to defend but Vieira has an arm under the chin now! Simao grimaces and is forced to tap out!
