Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reviy Naar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolf Thorkildsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thorkildsen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: AC/DC - Hell's Bells. Rolf Thorkildsen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Reviy Naar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rolf Thorkildsen! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Naar throws a head kick but Thorkildsen moves out of range.
Naar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thorkildsen manages to avoid it. Naar throws an off balance right hand
and Thorkildsen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Naar takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Thorkildsen keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Thorkildsen throws a right and a left that Naar avoids nicely. Naar thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Thorkildsen if he has to take too many more of those.
Thorkildsen scores with a hook to the body. Naar takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Thorkildsen avoids the head kick by Naar.
Naar throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Thorkildsen scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Naar throws a head kick that misses and Thorkildsen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Thorkildsen circles away from the clinch attempt and Thorkildsen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Thorkildsen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Naar at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Naar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thorkildsen manages to avoid it. Thorkildsen avoids the head kick by Naar.
Thorkildsen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Naar misses with a looping right. Reviy Naar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Thorkildsen takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Rolf Thorkildsen has been cut. Naar connects with a body shot. Naar throws a sloppy head kick letting Thorkildsen counter with a right hand. Naar tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick misses from Naar. Reviy Naar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Naar is breathing heavily. Naar tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick by Naar misses and Thorkildsen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Thorkildsen punishes Naar's body with a nice straight punch. Thorkildsen lands the left hand. Naar throws a sloppy head kick and Thorkildsen counters with a single leg into guard. Naar didn't expect that.
That's two minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Thorkildsen is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Naar can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Thorkildsen controls the pace. Naar can't keep his opponent in guard - Thorkildsen advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Thorkildsen has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Naar defend it? Thorkildsen steps over the head and cranks it - Naar is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Thorkildsen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rolf Thorkildsen! Rolf Thorkildsen decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
