Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Willie Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Rynes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davidson drives through with a takedown into guard. Rynes is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Davidson is controlling him. Davidson looking to pass the guard. Rynes wants to stand and escape but Davidson is having none of it. Davidson trying to control the position from guard on top but Rynes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rynes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Davidson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Rynes doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rynes takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Rynes throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Davidson. Davidson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Davidson stuffs the takedown attempt from Rynes. Rynes gets slowly back to his feet. Davidson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Davidson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rynes as he avoids it easily. Davidson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Davidson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Davidson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Rynes is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davidson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Davidson is in the full mount, landing strikes. Rynes is squirming around, avoiding Davidson's attempts to control the action. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rynes is looking to get to half guard. Davidson landing strikes from the mount. Davidson avoids the attempt from Rynes to control. Rynes tries to reverse the position but Davidson maintains control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davidson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Rynes tries to lock up and control but Davidson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Rynes is working to get back to half guard.
Davidson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Davidson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Rynes can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davidson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rynes looks a forlorn figure.
Davidson has hold of Rynes's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rynes manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Davidson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Poor strikes thrown by Davidson there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Rynes shoots in for a takedown but Davidson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Rynes throws a series of punches but Davidson moves out of range. Rynes is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Rynes misses with a series of wild punches.
Davidson stuffs the takedown. Davidson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Davidson lands in his opponent's guard. It's a sloppy attempt though and Davidson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Rynes. Davidson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rynes sprawls well. Rynes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Davidson gets slowly back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rynes takes a shot right to the bread basket. Rynes will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rynes fails with a takedown attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Davidson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rynes was covering up waiting for the punch and Davidson finishes the takedown easily into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Willie Davidson will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Rynes shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Rynes takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Rynes thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davidson has his hands clasped together around Rynes's back. He's all about the action. Davidson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rynes.

Still in half guard, Rynes seems content to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Davidson is in trouble now - Rynes has advanced to mount! Rynes controlling from the full mount. This has been an exciting period of action! Davidson squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
