Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ricky Magellan! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Magellan closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gracie to the mat! Gracie manages to get full guard. Magellan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Magellan wanted to stand there but Gracie had control of the position. Magellan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now. Gracie tries to land a sweep but no joy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Magellan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Gracie is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Gracie has escaped and now he's on top! Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Magellan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Magellan manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Magellan's guard. Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magellan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Magellan is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Magellan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard. Magellan tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard. Magellan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Magellan postures up in Gracie's guard and throws a big left but Gracie blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie is looking for a triangle but Magellan pushes his legs off easily.
Magellan looking to pass the guard. Magellan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Magellan wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving. Magellan sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Magellan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gracie's guard. Magellan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gracie knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Magellan trying to control from half guard but Gracie is working away. Gracie moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Magellan trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Magellan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Magellan controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ricky Magellan wasn't active enough on the ground. Magellan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gracie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Magellan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gracie, who protects the arm well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gracie manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ricky Magellan dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Magellan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Magellan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Gracie tries to reverse the position but Magellan maintains control. Ricky Magellan has got the better of the ground game so far. Magellan trying to control but he's not successful this time. Gracie gets back to half guard. Magellan is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Magellan working over Gracie with some ground and pound. Gracie looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Gracie makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gracie.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magellan controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Magellan slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Magellan is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Gracie's shoulder. That is not cool. Magellan passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Gracie! Magellan lands a nice shot to the head.
It looks like Gustavo Gracie has been cut. Magellan trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Magellan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Magellan goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Gracie is on top in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Gracie is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Magellan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Magellan has escaped and now he's on top! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Magellan trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.

Gracie uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Magellan cracks Gracie with a solid left hand. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Magellan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now. Magellan sitting in guard, not really doing much. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ricky Magellan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Gustavo Gracie's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Gracie fails with the takedown. Magellan gets the takedown into side control. Magellan goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Gracie has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Magellan but great work by Gracie. Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Magellan has escaped the position, nice work there. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Magellan controls the position for a moment. Gracie working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Magellan, who protects the arm well. Magellan sneaks out the side door and pushes Gracie away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Magellan clinches up with Gracie and pushes him back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Magellan breaks from the clinch.
Magellan shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gracie's guard. Magellan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard. Magellan postures up and lands a big shot to Gracie's brow. Magellan pushing down on Gracie's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Magellan passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gracie! Magellan tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Magellan prevents Gracie from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Magellan breaks from Gracie's wrist control and lands an elbow. Magellan looking to secure an arm triangle but Gracie defends it well. Magellan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Magellan goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Gracie turns into him and now he's in Magellan's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
And that's the end of the fight! Ricky Magellan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Magellan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
