Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yi Sung Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasara Hai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasara Hai has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Li enables Hai to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Li manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Li working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hai doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hai manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Li knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hai on the ground.

Hai has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hai drops back, looking for a kneebar! Li looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Li looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Li!

Hai has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Li doesn't defend quickly enough and Hai has managed to lock this one up! Can Li escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hai on a fantastic submission victory.
