Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sasha Lakovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tyson Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sasha Lakovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, tyson Griffin!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lakovic takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Griffin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lakovic but Lakovic pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Griffin blocks a head kick by Lakovic.
Griffin shoots in and drives through. Lakovic sprawls well.
Griffin tests Lakovic's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Griffin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lakovic's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Griffin closes the distance and clinches up with Lakovic, looking for a takedown. Griffin pushes Lakovic against the cage but Lakovic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Griffin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lakovic manages to avoid it.

Griffin paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Griffin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Lakovic throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Griffin looks to land a right hand but Lakovic moved out of range.

and Lakovic makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Griffin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lakovic tries to avoid it but Griffin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lakovic to the ground. Lakovic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lakovic is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Griffin has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lakovic.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Lakovic.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

letting Lakovic counter with a right hand.
Lakovic takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
