1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlin Cray! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Hunter with that takedown attempt. Hunter closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hunter lands in his opponent's guard. Hunter slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Cray keeping full guard, as Hunter tries to pass. Hunter works a leg free and moves into half guard. Hunter not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hunter trying to control the action but Cray is working from the bottom. Ground and pound from Hunter. Cray is trying to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cray avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hunter. Hunter is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Hunter seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cray for as long as he can get away with. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cray is trying to stand back up but Hunter is controlling him
Cray has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hunter is working away from the top position though. Cray is defending against the submission attempts here by Hunter.
Hunter wants to free his trapped foot but Cray is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunter throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Hunter wants to take a breather but Cray is having none of it. Cray wants to control but Hunter is keeping busy.
Hunter is looking to stall here but Cray recovers full guard. Hunter trying to control but Cray is working from the bottom. Hunter prevents Cray from getting back to his feet. Hunter wants to control from the top but Cray keeps moving. Hunter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hunter tries to free his leg and advance position but Cray is retaining full guard. Hunter with a flurry of punches that miss. Hunter trying to control but Cray is working from the bottom. Cray utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Hunter is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Cray really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hunter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cray keeping moving, preventing Hunter from controlling successfully. Cray looking for a sweep. Not yet Cray, not yet. Cray keeping full guard, as Hunter tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cray is trying to control the position but Hunter postures up. Hunter trying to control but Cray is working from the bottom. Hunter drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cray looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cray looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cray! Hunter is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Cray's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Cray is trying to control the action in half guard but Hunter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hunter is trying to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cray keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Cray decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hunter trying to control but Cray postures up.
Cray is looking to stall here but Hunter recovers full guard. Cray wants to control from the top but Hunter keeps moving. Roland Hunter overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Cray wants to get up but he can't break Hunter's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hunter is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Cray has his hands clasped together but Hunter extends an breaks Cray's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Hunter.
