Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Owen Wash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Drummond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Owen Wash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Victor Drummond!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drummond looks for a takedown but Wash sprawls well.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wash is defended easily by Drummond.

Drummond gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Wash shoots in looking for a takedown. Drummond tries to sprawl out of it but Wash keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Drummond manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Drummond is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Drummond has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Wash is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Drummond.

Wash feints and as Drummond raises his hands in defense, Wash changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

A close second round but Victor Drummond will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Wash wants to finish this one by submission but Drummond is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Wash.

Wash postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Drummond looks a forlorn figure.
Wash takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Wash swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Drummond is now in Wash's guard. A big mistake from Wash there, giving up the dominant position!

Drummond stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Drummond tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wash sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Drummond somewhat.
Drummond cracks Wash with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Wash moves into the clinch.
Drummond jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wash walks away with a smile on his face. Drummond gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Wash changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Drummond slaps away a takedown attempt from Wash, before circling back to the center of the mat.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Owen Wash.
I think Wash has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
