Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alex Voss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cory Trevor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trevor is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bounce Wimme Now. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alex Voss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cory Trevor! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trevor lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A slow jab from Trevor misses its intended target. Voss closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Voss lands in his opponent's guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Trevor keeping moving, preventing Voss from controlling successfully. Voss wants to pass the guard but Trevor is keeping the position. Trevor seems keen to control Voss's posture. Voss with a flurry of punches that miss. Voss wants to control from the top but Trevor keeps moving. Trevor pulls Voss in close to his closed guard and prevents Voss from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Alex Voss wasn't doing enough on the ground. Voss shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Trevor seems keen to control Voss's posture. Voss won't allow Trevor to sweep him here. Trevor trying to keep a closed guard but Voss is proving a slippery customer.
Voss throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Voss lands a couple of decent looking shots. Voss trying to control the position from guard on top but Trevor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trevor looking to hit a scissor sweep but Voss is one step ahead there. Voss in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Trevor keeping moving, preventing Voss from controlling successfully. Voss loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Trevor tries to land a sweep but no joy. Voss really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Voss trying to control the position from guard on top but Trevor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Voss postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Trevor is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Voss, into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Trevor throwing strikes but missing. Voss is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Trevor slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Trevor is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Voss has escaped the position, nice work there. Voss wants to get back to his feet but Trevor drags him back down. Voss manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Trevor is working for a submission of some sort.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trevor stops Voss from getting back to his feet.
Voss is trying to maintain the position but Trevor is very close to passing his half guard. Voss pushes Trevor off looking to stand but Trevor dives back in and keeps control.

Trevor wants to work for an arm triangle but Voss is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Trevor throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Voss on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Trevor is looking for a kimura but Voss is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Trevor to get the leverage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Alex Voss will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sloppy strikes from Trevor. Those never looked like landing. Voss with a lazy takedown attempt and Trevor counters with a stiff right hand. Trevor goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Voss slips a straight right by Trevor. Voss fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Trevor throws a half hearted mid kick. Voss shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Voss showed some decent athleticism there. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Trevor is trying to stand back up but Voss is controlling him
Voss looks to land a strike but Trevor avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trevor pulls Voss in close to prevent any damage. Voss with a flurry of punches that miss. Voss working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Voss wants to get up but he can't break Trevor's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Trevor keeping full guard, as Voss tries to pass. Voss has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Trevor is trying to keep Voss in close.
Voss postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Trevor is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Voss, into his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trevor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Voss is keeping the position for now. Voss throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Trevor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Trevor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Alex Voss overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Voss pushes Trevor off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Trevor misses the jab. Voss takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Voss has his takedown stuffed and Trevor counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Voss. That's going to take a lot out of him. Voss fails with a takedown attempt. Trevor stuns Voss with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Trevor has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Voss shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Trevor counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A big right from Trevor misses. Voss fails with the takedown. Trevor lands a big head kick that sends Voss tumbling to the mat! Trevor takes a step backwards and waves Voss back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Voss is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Voss shoots and misses and Trevor counters with a leg kick. Oh Voss is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Alex Voss is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trevor feints and then cracks Voss's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Voss down. Voss seems to have got his legs back now. Trevor is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Trevor misses with an uppercut. Voss saw that one coming. Trevor scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Voss takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Trevor clinches up with Voss and pushes him back against the cage. Voss managing to block the knees to the body from Trevor.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Voss wants to control from the top but Trevor keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cory Trevor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Voss changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Trevor tries to avoid it but Voss manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Trevor to the ground. Trevor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Trevor clinches up against the cage. Trevor stops a takedown attempt from Voss.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Trevor. Voss is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Trevor pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Voss. That's going to take a lot out of him. Trevor breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Voss showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Trevor.
Trevor moves into range and clinches up with Voss. Voss is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Trevor is defending well. Voss changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Trevor fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Voss gets cracked there but stands up to it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trevor fails in his attempt to clinch. Trevor darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Voss shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Trevor but Trevor pushes him off and we're back to square one. Trevor scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Trevor is trying for a kimura here. Voss looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Trevor wins by kimura!
