Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Enos Erikson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Volk Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Enos Erikson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Volk Khan! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Erikson sprawls well initially but Khan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Khan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Erikson is just riding it out for now. Khan eventually gives up the hold. Erikson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Erikson wants to control but Khan is keeping busy and won't allow it. Erikson is not content to let Khan control the position. Erikson looking for submissions off his back. Erikson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Khan looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Khan passes to full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan controlling his opponent. Khan is working for a guillotine from mount but Erikson frees his head quite easily.
Erikson wants to control but Khan is having none of it. Khan trying to control but he's not successful this time. Erikson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Khan wants to control the pace but Erikson is squirming around nicely. Erikson defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Khan. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Erikson wants to hold on but Khan pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Erikson can't escape the position.

Trouble for Erikson! This has been an exciting period of action! Khan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Erikson is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Erikson is desperately trying to improve his position but Khan has a good base and remains in mount. Erikson is working hard here to advance position. Khan goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Erikson turns into him and now he's in Khan's guard.

Erikson wants to pass the guard but Khan is keeping the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Khan keeping moving, preventing Erikson from controlling successfully. Khan wants to sweep here but Erikson controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Erikson scoring with punches to the head and body. Khan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Erikson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Khan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Erikson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Khan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Khan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Khan! Khan looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Erikson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Khan blocks the strikes from Erikson.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Volk Khan will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Khan closes the distance but Erikson moves to the side and Erikson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Khan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Erikson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Khan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Khan has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Erikson has passed into side control.
Khan tries to get back to half guard but can't. Erikson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. That's one minute gone in the round. Khan is looking for a sweep. Erikson controls the position. Erikson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Khan looking for a sweep but Erikson has passed into full mount! Oh no! Khan is looking to get to half guard. Erikson avoids the attempt from Khan to control. Erikson controlling the pace for now. Erikson is trying to take his opponent's back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Erikson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Khan is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Khan is trying to escape the mount.
Erikson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Khan turns into him and now he's in Erikson's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Khan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Erikson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Erikson looking to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Enos Erikson wasn't doing enough on the ground. Erikson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Khan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Khan moves to clinch but Erikson breaks away and Erikson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Erikson is working for a submission of some sort.
Erikson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Khan is looking for a sweep. Erikson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Khan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Erikson pulls his head out easily. Khan looking for submissions off his back. Khan wants to improve his position but Erikson is controlling well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Erikson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Khan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Khan wants to control from the top but Erikson keeps moving.

Erikson has his feet on Khan's thighs here. He's pushed Khan off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Khan screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
