Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wrestling Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Carlos Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wrestling Bot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Juan Carlos Ortiz! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortiz scores with a hook. Bot throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ortiz's waist but Ortiz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bot off to one side. Bot tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ortiz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bot somewhat. Ortiz scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Bot drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ortiz tries to buck Bot off but Bot is having none of it. Bot will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bot cracks Ortiz with an elbow. That is naaassty. Ortiz taking a bit of punishment here - Bot scoring with strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bot working the ground and pound. Ortiz tries to bench press Bot off him but Bot keeps the position. Bot has hold of Ortiz's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ortiz tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Bot cranks the arm and Ortiz screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ortiz, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Wrestling Bot! Our winner, Wrestling Bot, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
