Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kendrick Hardison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isai Chalas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardison's entrance music is Get Low. A fine choice. Isai Chalas will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kendrick Hardison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Isai Chalas! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hardison avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hardison shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Chalas stalks Hardison and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hardison's face. Hardison staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Kendrick Hardison has been cut. Hardison clinches up with Chalas and pushes him back against the cage. Hardison jumps guard and drags Chalas to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Chalas throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hardison works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Hardison is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hardison keeping moving, preventing Chalas from controlling successfully. Chalas drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hardison dives on top into guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hardison's corner. There ya go! There ya go! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hardison decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chalas throws a sloppy head kick so Hardison counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Hardison sitting in guard, not really doing much. Hardison might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Chalas is looking to stand up but Hardison isn't so interested in that idea. Chalas controls Hardison momentarily but Hardison frees himself. Chalas preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hardison trying to control but Chalas is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chalas wants to control but Hardison passes easily into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hardison is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Chalas doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hardison. Chalas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Chalas tries to kick Hardison off but Hardison keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Hardison thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chalas's head. This has been an exciting period of action! Chalas is defending against the submission attempts here by Hardison.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Well, if Hardison is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Hardison drops an elbow to the side of Chalas's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hardison wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chalas keeps working. Hardison seems to be looking for submissions.

Chalas wants to get back to full guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hardison thows a huge punch but Chalas dodges it nicely.
Hardison stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Chalas to get to his feet. Chalas throws a head kick but Hardison moves out of range.

Kendrick Hardison is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hardison scores with a jab. Chalas leaves Hardison with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Chalas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hardison moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hardison shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Chalas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hardison throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Chalas scores with a head kick. Hardison tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Chalas throws a one two combo.
Hardison throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chalas's waist but Chalas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hardison off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kendrick Hardison. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chalas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The fight moves into the clinch position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hardison stalls.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chalas jumps guard but Hardison stands there with Chalas around his waist. Chalas gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hardison can't break the clinch.
Hardison blocks an elbow strike. Hardison pulls guard effortlessly. Chalas stays in close to Hardison's body and controls the position. Chalas trying to control the position from guard on top but Hardison is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Chalas must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Chalas being controlled here momentarily.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Isai Chalas wasn't active enough on the ground. Chalas throws a head kick that misses and Hardison counters by moving into the clinch. Chalas is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Hardison prevents the takedown attempt.

and Hardison holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chalas is trying to push Hardison away but Hardison has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Hardison gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Chalas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hardison pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hardison showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Chalas.

Hardison has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Chalas is trying to keep Hardison in close.
Chalas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hardison. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hardison forces his way into half guard. Chalas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Isai Chalas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hardison shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hardison was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Hardison raining down hammerfists from mount. Hardison trying to control but Chalas is having none of it. Chalas working to try and regain half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Chalas tries to hold on but Hardison pushes him away. Hardison throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Chalas because Hardison loaded up on that one. Chalas is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Hardison avoids the attempt from Chalas to control. Hardison unloading with bombs! Kendrick Hardison overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chalas is desperately trying to improve his position but Hardison has a good base and remains in mount. Hardison gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Hardison slips a jab and a cross from Chalas.
Hardison shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Chalas napping and manages to drive through into side control! Hardison decides to take the fight back to the feet. Chalas's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Chalas duly obliges. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hardison shoots in for a takedown but Chalas shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Chalas misses with a wild combination.

Isai Chalas has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kendrick Hardison is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Chalas is trying to keep Hardison in close.
And that's the end of the fight! Kendrick Hardison showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hardison, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
