Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Schillaci!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bringer shoots in and bounces Schillaci off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Schillaci looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Bringer tries to free his leg and advance position but Schillaci is retaining full guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Bringer is looking to work some ground and pound but Schillaci has wrist control.
Bringer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Bringer wants to pass the guard but Schillaci is keeping the position.
Bringer is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bringer connects with a nice short shot to Schillaci's temple.
