Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

31 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thorbjorn Rekdal!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Reed Andrews and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Esposito 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like John Esposito has been cut.
Esposito misses with an uppercut. Rekdal saw that one coming.
Esposito digs a good hook to Rekdal's body.
Esposito throws a leg kick which misses Rekdal's front leg but catches the back leg as Rekdal tries to avoid it.
Rekdal walks into a straight right hand from Esposito.
It looks like Thorbjorn Rekdal has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Esposito swats away the attempt to clinch by Rekdal.

and Esposito counters with a thumping low kick.
Esposito swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A thudding body kick lands there by Esposito!
Esposito feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rekdal's calf.
Rekdal looks gassed!
Esposito jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Rekdal ducks under a wild hook from Esposito.
Esposito just misses with a punch to the body.
Nice cross by Esposito.
Esposito misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rekdal.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rekdal throws a low kick but it's checked well by Esposito.
Rekdal just misses with a punch to the body.
A left lands for Esposito.
Esposito drops Rekdal with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rekdal looks back up at him and smiles so Esposito waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Rekdal is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Esposito! Rekdal is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
