Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Ak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bowman Dell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dell has chosen UnDead as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Ak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bowman Dell!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ak tries to clinch there but Dell circles away.
Ak keeps Dell at a distance using the push kick.
Ak tries to close the distance and clinch but Dell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dell stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ak.
Dell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ak.
Ak rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dell counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Ak is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Dell stuffs the takedown attempt from Ak. Ak gets slowly back to his feet.
Ak is looking to score with low kicks.
Ak throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Dell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Sergei Ak has been cut.
Dell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A punch lands to the side of Ak 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Ak has a takedown stuffed.
Ak avoids the body shot from Dell.
Dell avoids a kick to the body.
Ak wants to clinch up but Dell keeps it at a distance.
Sergei Ak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ak throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Dell misses with a wild body shot.
Ak checks the leg kick.
Ak is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dell sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sergei Ak. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ak lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Dell blocks a low kick nicely.

Ak manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Dell on his heels. He'll look to pass Dell's guard now, I'm sure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ak slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Ak tries for a kimura but Dell is defending well.
Dell tries to bench press Ak off him but Ak keeps the position.
You can see the frustration on Dell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Ak looks up at the clock and then as Dell takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Ak smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dell is trying to improve his position.

Ak goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dell has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ak but great work by Dell.
Ak parries the strikes from Dell easily there. Dell is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ak to escape.
Dell lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ak down.
Ak is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Ak is trying to work for a sweep but Dell has mounted him!
Dell is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Dell with a couple of short strikes.

Ak is wriggling around trying to escape.
Dell looking to control and managing it successfully.
Ak is in a horrible position here. Dell smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Sergei Ak's cut is getting worse.
Dell prevents Ak from getting the reversal.
Ak regains half guard.
Ak manages to get to full guard.
Dell tries to free his leg and advance position but Ak is retaining full guard.
Dell trying to control but Ak is working from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dell chips away with some ground and pound.
Dell pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ak is keeping the position for now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ak is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ak working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Dell has passed into half guard!
Ak is trying to get back to full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ak keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Bowman Dell will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Sergei Ak's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Dell misses with an uppercut. Ak saw that one coming.
Ak thows a left - swing and a miss!
Ak throws a hook to the side of Dell's head but Dell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dell with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Dell chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ak can pounce on him.
Ak shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dell as he jumps to the side.
A telegraphed right hand from Dell misses the target.
Ak misses with a leg kick
and Dell counters with a leg kick.
Dell lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Ak throws a body kick that misses.
Ak scores with a jab to the head.
Ak throws a nice inside leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ak tries to work over Dell's front leg with a kick but Dell checks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ak tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dell swivels and escapes.
Ak moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Ak lands a nice looking kick to the body. Dell takes a step back to recover.
Ak cracks Dell with a good jab.

Dell pushes Ak up against the cage in a clinch.
Dell can't find room to land a body shot as Ak controls the action.
Dell lands with a short shot to the head.

Ak turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ak manages to end up in side control.
Ak wants to take a breather but Dell manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Ak.
Ak scoring with punches to the head and body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ak passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Dell sneaks back into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ak is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Ak has control of Dell's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dell regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ak lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Dell hang on?
Ak lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

It looks like Bowman Dell has been cut.
Sergei Ak overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ak cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Ak scoring with strikes but Dell is staying in there.

Dell is rocked!

That has opened up Bowman Dell's cut even more.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bowman Dell's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Sergei Ak decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
