Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Raf Gon DIas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chaz Wong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gon DIas comes to the ring accompanied by Before I Forget. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Raf Gon DIas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Chaz Wong!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wong blocks a head kick by Gon DIas.
Wong wants to clinch
and Gon DIas makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Gon DIas throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Wong is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Wong looks to clinch
and Gon DIas counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Wong moves forwards but Gon DIas connects with a nice, crisp jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Gon DIas darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Gon DIas throws a right and a left that both miss.
Raf Gon DIas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wong takes a head kick and keeps coming.


Wong is rocked!

Gon DIas gets a clinch.
Wong tries to stall but Gon DIas uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Gon DIas landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Gon DIas breaks the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gon DIas. Wong does a little dance to reset his feet.

Gon DIas rushes Wong and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Gon DIas lands an elbow that stopped Wong in his tracks for a moment.
Wong is looking to control Gon DIas's arms but Gon DIas gets an underhook and turns him. Now Wong has his back to the ropes.
Gon DIas lands an elbow just above Wong 's eye.
Gon DIas avoids a wild elbow strike from Wong.
Gon DIas lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Gon DIas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gon DIas throws a right and a left that Wong avoids nicely.
Gon DIas tries to clinch there but Wong circles away.

Gon DIas moves into the clinch.

Gon DIas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gon DIas misses with a kick to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gon DIas looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Gon DIas lands with a good body shot.
Wong tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Wong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gon DIas using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Gon DIas unloads a knee to the mid-section. Wong lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Gon DIas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wong wants to clinch
and Gon DIas counters with a body kick that stops Wong in his tracks momentarily.

Gon DIas clinches.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Wong looking to throw knees to the head but Gon DIas is blocking nicely.
Wong misses with an elbow strike.
Wong is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Gon DIas scores a nice knee to the body.
Wong looks gassed!

Gon DIas breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gon DIas dips to his left and cracks Wong with an uppercut!
Gon DIas fails to land with a series of punches.
Gon DIas displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Wong is still on wobbly legs! Can Gon DIas finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wong closes the distance looking to clinch
and Gon DIas counters with a straight right hand.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wong closes the distance but Gon DIas moves to the side
and Wong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wong seems to have recovered his senses.
Wong darts in trying to clinch
and Gon DIas counters with a three punch combo that has Wong backing up. Wong nods at Gon DIas to acknowledge the strikes.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Gon DIas lands with a nice combination. Wong backs away looking to recover.
Gon DIas cracks a nice hook into Wong's ribs.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raf Gon DIas dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Gon DIas fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wong looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wong avoids the head kick by Gon DIas.
The fight stays on the outside here - Wong looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Raf Gon DIas is winning the standup battle so far.

Gon DIas has closed the distance and engaged Wong in a clinch.

Gon DIas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gon DIas is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Gon DIas lands a front kick.
Wong closes the distance but Gon DIas moves to the side
enabling Gon DIas to counter with a crisp jab.
Gon DIas avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Wong tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Gon DIas counters with a body kick.

Gon DIas rushes Wong and presses him up against the ropes.

Gon DIas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gon DIas dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wong. That did some damage!

Gon DIas darts in and clinches Wong up against the ropes.
Gon DIas is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wong can do to turn this around?

A nice leg kick lands there from Gon DIas.
Wong closes the distance but Gon DIas moves to the side

and Gon DIas moves into the clinch.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Gon DIas lands an elbow that stopped Wong in his tracks for a moment.
Wong takes an elbow to the forehead.


It looks like Chaz Wong has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gon DIas creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Wong's defenses.
Wong misses with an elbow over the top.
Wong is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Gon DIas crunches a lovely knee into Wong's ribcage.
Wong is breathing heavily.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Gon DIas.

Gon DIas manages to break the clinch.
Crack! A monster head kick from Gon DIas and Wong falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Gon DIas!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Raf Gon DIas!
A very excited looking Raf Gon DIas made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
