The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lapu looks to throw the jab but Kowalski is out of range.

Kowalski drives through and clinches with Lapu against the cage.
Lapu is looking to break free of the clinch but Kowalski has double underhooks.

Lapu has clasped his hands together around Kowalski's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Lapu wants to stand but Kowalski is controlling his arm.

Kowalski has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Lapu's face.
BOOM! Kowalski connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Jacek Kowalski decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
