Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De V looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Velasquez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Velasquez wants to clinch
and De V counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Velasquez throws a sloppy head kick and De V moves out of range easily.
De V connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

De V throws a hook but Velasquez avoids it easily.
Velasquez tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. De V manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
De V throws a quick inside leg kick.
De V blocks a head kick by Velasquez.
De V throws a nice looking combination but Velasquez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
De V misses the jab.
Velasquez doesn't manage to clinch there - De V circles away.
Velasquez tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and De V counters with a left and a right that stings Velasquez.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
De V tests Velasquez's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
De V closes the distance and catches Velasquez with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Velasquez is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Velasquez is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Velasquez is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! De V takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Cu De V!
Cu De V decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
