Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerzy Kosinski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Johnny Chase has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Johnny Chase seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jerzy Kosinski!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kosinski pinned against the cage. Kosinski gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jerzy Kosinski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kosinski swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kosinski misses with a jab, cross combination.
Chase looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kosinski is fending him off so far but Chase persists. Nope, Kosinski circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kosinski throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kosinski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chase manages to avoid it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kosinski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chase moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Chase tries for a takedown but Kosinski circles away easily
and Kosinski counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Chase takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kosinski smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kosinski feints a jab promting Chase to slip. Kosinski then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Chase slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Chase fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kosinski avoids it really well and circles away.
Kosinski throws a series of strikes that have Chase backpedaling.
Kosinski has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Chase takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

and Chase decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kosinski's guard.

Chase drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chase jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Chase drops back looking for a leg! Kosinski is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kosinski manages to kick Chase off! Chase jumps back into Kosinski's guard.
Kosinski has his hands on Chase's head, controlling the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kosinski can do anything to dispel that myth.

Chase is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kosinski wants to stand up but Chase is controlling him.

Chase postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kosinski is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Chase, into his guard.
Kosinski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chase. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kosinski wants to get up but he can't break Chase's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jerzy Kosinski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Chase's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Kosinski throws a right hand that Chase ducks under and follows up with a left that Chase also avoids with ease.
Kosinski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kosinski lands with a hook. Chase tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jerzy Kosinski is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
