Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kalle Anka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cole is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Stand Up and Shout by Steel Dragons. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Chris Cole was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kalle Anka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Cole! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anka closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cole did well to prevent Anka getting side control. Cole looking for submissions off his back. Anka throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Anka wants to pass the guard but Cole is defending well. Cole trying to hold on to Anka's head to control him but Anka postures up.
Anka keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Anka seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cole for as long as he can get away with. Cole is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anka with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Kalle Anka just wasn't active enough. Anka shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cole napping and manages to drive through into side control! Cole is being controlled here. Anka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cole keeps working. You can see the frustration on Cole's face as Anka controls the position. Cole prevents Anka from moving into mount. Anka controlling from side mount. Anka decides to stand back up. Anka steps back and let's Cole get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anka circles away from the clinch attempt and Anka counters with a single leg into guard. Cole didn't expect that. Anka has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cole is trying to control the position but Anka postures up. Cole is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Anka is aware though and is defending well. Cole has a closed guard, preventing Anka from standing up. Cole is trying to keep Anka in close.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Anka stands and steps away. Cole gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Anka misses with a body kick. Anka fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cole sprawls well initially but Anka persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Cole trying to hold on to Anka's head to control him but Anka postures up.
Still in half guard, Anka seems content to control. Anka decides to return to a standing position. Anka closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cole did well to prevent Anka getting side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Anka is keen to just control but Cole is a slippery customer. Cole is looking to improve his position.

Anka shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Anka showed some decent athleticism there. Anka is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Anka is working for a kimura but Cole is defending it quite comfortably.

Anka looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cole with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Cole is trying to control but can't.

Cole looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Anka trying to control the action but Cole is working from the bottom. Anka stands up and beckons Cole to his feet. Anka closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cole to the mat! Cole manages to get full guard. Cole wants to sweep here but Anka controlling him for the moment. Anka trying to control the position from guard on top but Cole is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Anka works a leg free and moves into half guard. Cole is trying to get back to full guard. Anka is trying to control. Cole wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Anka shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Anka landing strikes from the mount and Cole is in trouble! Cole wants to hold on but Anka pushes him away. Anka in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Cole wants to control but Anka is having none of it. Anka with shots to the head and body - Cole looks very uncomfortable down there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Anka looking to control and managing it successfully. Cole working to try and regain half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anka lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Anka moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Cole has worked his arm free - good work by Cole!
Anka moves into full mount! Anka with good strikes from the mount here! Anka wants to control the pace but Cole is squirming around nicely. Cole wants to hold on but Anka pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anka looking to control and managing it successfully. Cole wants to control but Anka is having none of it. Cole sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cole has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Anka is working away from the top position though. Anka is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Anka wants to free his trapped foot but Cole is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole looking for submissions off his back. Anka passes the guard and advances to mount! Chris Cole has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Anka prevents Cole from getting the reversal. Cole tries to hold on but Anka postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anka is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Anka!
