Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ted Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derek Safo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Safo has chosen Up Your Speed by Sway DaSafo as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Derek Safo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Safo tries to clinch but Grant is having none of it.
Grant throws a head kick but Safo moves out of range.
Safo throws out a powerful jab.
Grant throws a series of punches but Safo moves out of range.
Grant tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Safo was well out of range. Poor timing from Grant.
Safo tries to clinch but Grant moves away
and Grant counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Derek Safo has been cut.
Grant throws the left hand but Safo avoids the punch easily.
Safo misses with an uppercut.
Safo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Grant fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Safo takes a swing at Grant's ribcage but misses.
Derek Safo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grant misses with a jab, cross combination.
Safo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Safo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Grant throws a right hand that Safo ducks under and follows up with a left that Safo also avoids with ease.
Safo dips to his left and cracks Grant with an uppercut!
Grant cracks Safo with an open hand slap.
Grant lands the left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Safo lands a jab to Grant's midsection.
Grant throws a series of punches but Safo avoids them all with ease.
Safo avoids the body shot from Grant.
Safo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Grant thows a left - swing and a miss!
A combination from Safo does no damage.
Safo swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Grant throws a right and a left that both miss.
Safo just misses with a punch to the body.
Safo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Grant swings for the body but Safo moves out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Safo. Those never looked like landing.
Safo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Safo tries to land knees in the clinch but Grant avoids the damage to the body.
Safo goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Grant breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grant changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Grant misses with a kick to the body.
Safo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Grant was well out of range. Poor timing from Safo.
Safo throws a right and a left that Grant avoids nicely.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Grant darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Safo scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Safo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Safo misses with a few strikes there.
Safo lands a jab to the head.
Grant scores with a one two! Safo had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Grant misses with a body shot.
Grant throws a right and a left that Safo avoids nicely.
Safo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Safo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Grant has time to react.
Grant lands with a big left! Safo is wobbled badly! Grant comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Safo to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ted Grant!
