The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Um scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Pawter taking some punishment here, with Um in his half guard.
Pawter pushes Um off looking to stand but Um dives back in and keeps control.
Um tries to pass to full mount but Pawter defends it.

Pawter lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pawter. Um does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pawter jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Pawter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Um throws a strike but Pawter rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Um gets caught flat footed, as Pawter shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Pawter stands and steps away. Um gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Pawter does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Um misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pawter closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Um takes an elbow to the forehead.
Oh Um is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pawter creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Um with a big uppercut! Um tries to clinch up but Pawter pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Um to the mat! Um covers up and Pawter unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
