Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gubot Lukot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gubot Lukot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Blake Perez! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lukot looks to land a left hand but Perez moved out of range nicely. Gubot Lukot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Perez tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lukot was well out of range. Poor timing from Perez. Perez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lukot. Lukot shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Perez napping and manages to drive through into side control! Perez is trying to control Lukot's posture but Lukot avoids it. Lukot has momentary wrist control but Perez slips an elbow through the middle. Lukot might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Perez is stalling in the full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gubot Lukot dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Perez shoots for a takedown but Lukot saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. No luck with that takedown attempt from Lukot. Perez throws a hook but Lukot avoids it easily. Lukot throws a shot from downtown. Perez moves away and avoids it. Lukot scores with a nice strike. Lukot closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Perez did well to prevent Lukot getting side control. Lukot is looking to stall here but Perez recovers full guard. Lukot postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Lukot wants to control from the top but Perez keeps moving. Lukot with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Lukot wants to control from the top but Perez keeps moving. Perez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lukot's guard.

Perezis looking to pass into half guard but Lukot pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Lukot is in guard. Perez wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Lukot is now in half guard. Perez moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Lukot tries to free his leg and advance position but Perez is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lukot trying to control but Perez is working from the bottom. Perez working for a triangle but Lukot defends it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lukot wants to control from the top but Perez keeps moving. Lukot drops back looking for a leg! Perez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Perez manages to kick Lukot off! Lukot jumps back into Perez's guard. Lukot postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lukot trying to control but Perez is working from the bottom. Perez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lukot can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Perez working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Lukot has passed into half guard!
Lukot wants to work for an arm triangle but Perez is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Perez is pressing down on Lukot's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Perez. Perez looks to score with a jab to the body but Lukot is just out of range. Lukot fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Perez manages to avoid it. Perez moves out of range as Lukot strikes. Nice sprawl there from Lukot as Perez shoots in. Perez looks to land a left hand but Lukot moved out of range nicely. Lukot throws a wild body kick that Perez sees coming a mile off. Perez slaps away a takedown attempt from Lukot, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perez misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lukot.

Lukot shoots in for a double leg but Perez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gubot Lukot. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lukot drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Perez working a defensive guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lukot scoring with punches to the head and body. Perez is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lukot is aware though and is defending well. Perez takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Lukot controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Lukot sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. Perez can't do much from the bottom here. Lukot goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Perez has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lukot but great work by Perez. Perez goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lukot rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Perez's guard! Nice work there by Lukot!
