The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Black Jr as Silva shoots in.
Black Jr scores with a nice body kick.
A head kick from Black Jr lands but Silva takes it in his stride.
Black Jr will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Black Jr shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Black Jr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Black Jr connects with a right hand. Silva shakes it off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Black Jr shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Attonitto Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cyrus Black Jr.

Black Jr throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Silva's head.
Black Jr throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Black Jr scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Black Jr connects with a good right hand that stumbles Silva. Silva circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Black Jr shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Silva defends it nicely.
Black Jr shoots in but no luck this time.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Silva drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Silva as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Black Jr screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Silva! Nice submission victory there!
