Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between King Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Kong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Jones! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Jones thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kong's head. Jones missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kong tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control. The fighters are battling for position here. Kong manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kong is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Jones stands up from guard. Let's bang! Jones shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kong's guard. Jones is pushing down on Kong's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kong is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kong is refusing to be controlled, as Jones sits in half guard. Jones lands with a punch from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Jones trying to control from half guard but Kong is working away. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
James Jones has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Kong tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jones fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jones has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones has Kong pressed against the cage.
Jones successfully pulls guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth. Jones seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kong doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kong manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Jones has his foot on Kong's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kong works his way back into a safe position though. Kong tries to stand but Jones is controlling from the bottom. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones wriggles free and stands up. Kong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kong misses with a double jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kong fails with the takedown and Jones counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Kong is breathing heavily. Jones is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Jones not doing much here.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Kong taking some punishment here, with Jones in his half guard. Jones is controlling the pace.
Jones landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Jones not doing much here.
Jones is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Jones keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Kong wants to improve his position but Jones is controlling well.
Kong is refusing to be controlled, as Jones sits in half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jones working Kong over with strikes. Jones looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kong with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Jones controlling the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Jones dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kong sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Jones is working for a submission of some sort.
Jones is trying to work for a kimura but Kong is defending well.
Jones is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kong is just riding it out for now. Jones eventually gives up the hold. Jones looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jones trying to control from half guard but Kong is working away. Jones scoring with strikes to the body and head. Jones seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kong does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Jones stalling away here and it's allowed Kong to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kong is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jones is aware though and is defending well. Jones landing with the ground and pound. Jones wants to control from the top but Kong keeps moving. Kong trying to keep a closed guard but Jones is proving a slippery customer.
Kong keeping full guard, as Jones tries to pass. Jones sitting in guard, not really doing much. Jones connects with a couple of short punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Kong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Jones stands up over Kong, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Kong controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jones stands and throws Kong's legs to the side, diving into side control. Check out the look on Jones's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Kong is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Jones is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kong has escaped the position, nice work there. Jones cracks Kong with an elbow. That is naaassty.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Jones trying to control the position but Kong is working away. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Jones cracks Kong with a big right hand but Kong just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Jones advances to mount. Jones controlling his opponent. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kong is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Jones throws the kick towards the body but Kong avoids it. Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kong doesn't succeed with the takedown and Jones counters with a takedown into side control. Jones has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Kong shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense. Jones throws a head kick but Kong moves out of range.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kong looks to clinch and Jones counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is nestled in close to Kong, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jones performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Jones is keen to just control but Kong is a slippery customer. Kong is in trouble now - Jones has advanced to mount! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jones cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Jones controlling from mount. Kong tries to hold on but Jones postures up. Jones tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This has been an exciting period of action! Jones is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Kong can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Jones working away from the top, dropping strikes. Jones landing strikes, looking to finish! Kong is in a horrible position here. Jones smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Kong is rocked! Jones controlling from the full mount. Jones lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Kong! Jones sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Kong and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). James Jones!
