Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vladsislas Wshivtsev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Harmon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harmon has chosen Dead! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Vladsislas Wshivtsev! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Harmon! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wshivtsev tries to clinch up. Wshivtsev moves in looking to clinch but Harmon pushes him off. Wshivtsev looks for a takedown but Harmon sprawls well. Wshivtsev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Harmon tries to avoid it but Wshivtsev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Harmon to the ground. Harmon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Wshivtsev shoots for a double leg takedown but Harmon sprawls well. He's pushed Wshivtsev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladsislas Wshivtsev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wshivtsev will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Wshivtsev fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Harmon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Harmon scores with a nice head shot. Wshivtsev looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Wshivtsev is breathing heavily. Wshivtsev will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Wshivtsev takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Harmon gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Harmon breaks the clinch.
Harmon drives through and clinches with Wshivtsev against the cage.
Wshivtsev is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Harmon is keeping busy. Harmon avoiding damage as Wshivtsev throws knees to the body.

Harmon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Harmon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Wshivtsev is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Wshivtsev is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Wshivtsev is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Wshivtsev had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Harmon is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wshivtsev Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Harmon's back instead. Wshivtsev looking to hold on to the position here but Harmon rolls and ends up regaining guard.
Harmon pulls Wshivtsev in close to his closed guard and prevents Wshivtsev from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wshivtsev stands up and waves to Harmon to follow him. Wshivtsev with a poor takedown and Harmon counters with a lovely straight right hand! Harmon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wshivtsev misses with a takedown and Harmon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wshivtsev's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wshivtsev wants to get back to his feet but Harmon is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wshivtsev looking to hit a scissor sweep but Harmon is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harmon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Wshivtsev has an active guard here but Harmon has managed to pass into half guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Wshivtsev is looking to get back to full guard here but Harmon has managed to pass to side control instead. Harmon prevents Wshivtsev from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Harmon looking to control and managing it successfully. Wshivtsev tries to hold on but Harmon pushes him away. Wshivtsev bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Wshivtsev distracts Harmon with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wshivtsev stands and steps away. Harmon gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Harmon goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Wshivtsev closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Harmon dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Wshivtsev with a poor takedown enabling Harmon to counter with a crisp jab. Wshivtsev has his takedown stuffed and Harmon counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Wshivtsev shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Harmon counters with a single leg into guard. Wshivtsev didn't expect that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladsislas Wshivtsev. That's going to take a lot out of him. Harmon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wshivtsev swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wshivtsev working a defensive guard but Harmon passes into half guard.
Harmon is taking a breather. Wshivtsev says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Harmon prevents Wshivtsev from improving his position. Harmon decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harmon listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Wshivtsev misses with a takedown and Harmon counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wshivtsev thinking. Wshivtsev tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Wshivtsev feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Wshivtsev wants to stand but Harmon is controlling his posture from full guard. Harmon working a defensive guard here.
Wshivtsev working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Wshivtsev is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Harmon is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Harmon has escaped and now he's on top! Wshivtsev keeping busy on the bottom but Harmon has passed one foot through into half guard.

Wshivtsev tries to clinch but fails miserably enabling Harmon to counter with a crisp jab. Wshivtsev clinches but Harmon breaks the clinch and Harmon counters with a stiff right hand. Harmon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Wshivtsev regains half guard.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Harmon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Eric Harmon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Wshivtsev fails with the takedown and Harmon counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Harmon. Wshivtsev jumps into guard, dragging Harmon to the mat.
Wshivtsev is trying to control the position but Harmon postures up. Wshivtsev has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Harmon is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Wshivtsev. Wshivtsev tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Harmon get's back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Harmon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wshivtsev sprawls well initially but Harmon persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Wshivtsev gets back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wshivtsev looking for a guillotine here but Harmon defends easily.

Harmon is fighting to break Wshivtsev's control of his arms but Wshivtsev is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Wshivtsev looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Wshivtsev controls Harmon momentarily but Harmon frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Harmon trying to control the position from guard on top but Wshivtsev is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Vladsislas Wshivtsev has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wshivtsev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Harmon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wshivtsev working for submissions but it's allowed Harmon to get to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Harmon is figuring out what he wants to do next. Wshivtsev is looking to improve his position.
Wshivtsev wants to control but Harmon is keeping busy and won't allow it. Wshivtsev has one foot on Harmon's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Wshivtsev shoots and misses and Harmon counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Wshivtsev kicks Harmon off and gets back to his feet. Wshivtsev shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Wshivtsev with a poor takedown and Harmon counters with a three punch combo that has Wshivtsev backing up. Wshivtsev nods at Harmon to acknowledge the strikes. Wshivtsev closes the distance but Harmon moves to the side and Harmon counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Harmon.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Harmon controls from within his opponent's guard. Harmon stands up and waves to Wshivtsev to follow him. Wshivtsev fails with the takedown. Eric Harmon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Harmon moves into range and clinches up with Wshivtsev. Wshivtsev stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
And that's the end of the fight! Eric Harmon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Harmon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
