Lee comes to the ring accompanied by Eminem - Cold Wind Blows. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takahara misses with a low kick.
Lee tries to clinch
and Takahara counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Takahara avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lee uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Takahara.
Takahara throws out a head kick that Lee doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Lee crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Lee's eyes and has decided to let it go on!

It looks like Chuck Lee has been cut.
Shinji Takahara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Takahara moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Lee! Takahara continues to tee off on Lee, landing with a left and a right! Takahara connects with a right hand that leaves Lee sleeping against the ropes! What a finish by Takahara!
