Wright throws out a loose jab but Overeem uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tom Wright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Overeem throws a sloppy head kick and Wright moves out of range easily.
Overeem fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wright.
Overeem throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Wright chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Overeem can pounce on him.
Overeem throws a quick head kick that knocks Wright silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Overeem is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
