Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tomas Railway! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jean Claude Overeem! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A good leg kick by Railway. Tomas Railway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Overeem throws a sloppy head kick and Railway moves out of range easily. Railway is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Overeem. A solid leg kick lands there for Overeem.
Railway throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Railway moves out of range as Overeem throws a body kick.
Overeem takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Overeem throws a leg kick which misses Railway's front leg but catches the back leg as Railway tries to avoid it. Overeem steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Railway. Railway will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Railway scores with a punch to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Overeem swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Railway is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Railway tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Overeem's elbow. Overeem utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. A short right hand to the side of the head by Overeem. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Railway working hard to break the clinch. Railway's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Railway takes a knee right on the jaw!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Overeem stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Tomas Railway's cut is getting worse. Overeem working the clinch nicely. Railway is working for position but Overeem cracks him with a big knee to the head! Railway crumples up against the cage and Overeem lands two more shots before the ref can save Railway! This one is all over!

Jean Claude Overeem opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
