Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ash Auty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Auty closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Auty lands in his opponent's guard.

Auty really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A close round but Ash Auty will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Auty is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Silva can't fight it off and eventually Auty manages to take the fight to the floor. Silva looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Auty takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Silva is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Auty is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Eduardo Silva.

Auty shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Silva manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Auty has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Silva is proving hard to escape from.

Auty got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Auty has managed to get both his arms back between Silva's legs - danger averted.
