Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen slips under a jab.

Sonnen closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Henrique quickly recovers to half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Henrique is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sonnen pulls his head out easily.
Henrique is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sonnen lands a nice short elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sonnen is looking for a kimura but Henrique is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sonnen to get the leverage.
Sonnen tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Henrique.
Sonnen looks gassed!

Sonnen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Henrique. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sonnen thows an elbow strike that misses. Henrique gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Sonnen doesn't seem too bothered but Henrique quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Sonnen is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Sonnen really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
