Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mineirinho Uai So (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vaughn's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Godfather . The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, James Vaughn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mineirinho Uai So! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vaughn connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Uai So shoots in for a takedown but Vaughn shows good takedown defense. Vaughn looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A left lands for Vaughn. Uai So misses with a takedown attempt - Vaughn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Uai So tries to clinch but Vaughn moves out of range. Uai So is looking to clinch but Vaughn is avoiding it.
Vaughn ducks down and throws a hook to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Vaughn chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Uai So tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Vaughn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Uai So shoots in and drives through. Vaughn sprawls well. James Vaughn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mineirinho Uai So. A cross from Vaughn lands. Uai So takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Uai So looks gassed! A slapping leg kick lands for Vaughn.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uai So moves in looking to clinch but Vaughn pushes him off. Uai So takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Vaughn fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Uai So looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Vaughn throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Uai So stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Vaughn swinging wildly here.
Vaughn dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Vaughn cracks Uai So with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Uai So looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Vaughn finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Vaughn wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Vaughn looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Vaughn backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Uai So's temple! It sends Uai So violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Vaughn celebrates and the doctors try to help Uai So!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). James Vaughn! Our winner, James Vaughn, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
