Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Valdmir Vodikoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Valdmir Vodikoff!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vodikoff closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jones's guard.
Vodikoff is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Vodikoff manages to get himself to full guard.
Vodikoff has Jones pulled in close to control his posture.
Jones with a flurry of punches that miss.
Vodikoff preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vodikoff can do anything to dispel that myth.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Sean Jones wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Jones looks for the body kick but Vodikoff saw that one coming.
Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jones is looking to chop away at Vodikoff's legs.
Vodikoff stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Jones goes for a takedown attempt but Vodikoff pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Jones misses with a two punch combination.
Horrible takedown by Jones or perhaps it was just good defense by Vodikoff which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jones decides to stand back up.

Vodikoff stuffs the takedown.
Sean Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones lands a right hook to the body.
Jones misses with a head kick.
Jones shoots in for a double leg but Vodikoff sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt.

and Vodikoff counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Vodikoff is working Jones over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Jones has momentary wrist control but Vodikoff slips an elbow through the middle.

Vodikoff is working Jones over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Vodikoff lands a couple of digs.
Jones is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vodikoff accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jones is looking for a triangle but Vodikoff pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vodikoff missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

A close round but Valdmir Vodikoff will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Vodikoff shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Jones wants to stand and escape but Vodikoff is having none of it.
Jones might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Vodikoff throws an elbow that misses. Jones uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Vodikoff's guard. Nice move by Jones!

Jones is looking to advance position but Vodikoff has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Jones wants to control but Vodikoff is having none of it.
Vodikoff pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
It looks like Sean Jones has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones is looking to improve his position but Vodikoff isn't that keen on the idea.
Vodikoff scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Jones?
Sean Jones's cut is getting worse.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Vodikoff cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Jeez, Sean Jones's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sean Jones's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Valdmir Vodikoff!
