Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Max Snozynsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 15 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Leon Spyridon!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Snozynsky has Spyridon up against the cage in a clinch.

Snozynsky drags the fight down to the ground.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Snozynsky is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Snozynsky looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Spyridon postures up.
Snozynsky wants to sweep here but Spyridon controlling him for the moment.

Snozynsky manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Spyridon manages to get himself to full guard.

Snozynsky creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Spyridon sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Snozynsky is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Spyridon will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Snozynsky wants to lay and pray for a moment but Spyridon keeps working.
Snozynsky moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Spyridon is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Snozynsky defends it well.
