The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jt throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Garza.
Garza dips to his left and cracks jt with an uppercut!
jt moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
jt tries to close the distance and clinch up but Garza swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Garza with a nice cross.
jt slips a jab and a cross from Garza.
Garza bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps jt's head backwards.
A combination from Garza does no damage.
Garza catches jt with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
jt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Garza shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. jt eats them both and turns towards Garza to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!
jt tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
jt wants to clinch up but Garza keeps it at a distance.
jt tries to clinch but Garza is having none of it.

Garza's corner calls for a 1-2. Garza obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

jt drops his guard momentarily, allowing Garza to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes jt! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Garza takes it!
