Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank O Monagahan!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross throws an off balance right hand
and O Monagahan counters with a one-two to the body.
O Monagahan misses with the combination.
O Monagahan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
O Monagahan fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ross misses with a straight right.
Ross throws a body punch but O Monagahan moves out of range.
Ross throws an overhand right that lands on O Monagahan's shoulder, as O Monagahan tries to avoid the shot.
Ross bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of O Monagahan's head.
Ross throws a looping overhand right but O Monagahan ducks down to avoid it.
Ross throws a lazy right hand but O Monagahan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ross throws a hook but O Monagahan avoids it easily.
Nice uppercut there from Ross.
O Monagahan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ross paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A nice combination there by O Monagahan.
O Monagahan drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
O Monagahan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
O Monagahan misses with a series of wild punches.
Ross jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
O Monagahan feints a jab promting Ross to slip. O Monagahan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ross slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Ross is looking to score with low kicks.
O Monagahan moves away from the strike by Ross.
Decent striking displayed by Ross there.
Frank O Monagahan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
O Monagahan tries to clinch but Ross moves away
and Ross counters with a crisp one two that drops O Monagahan! Ross thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves O Monagahan to his feet! O Monagahan is in big trouble!
O Monagahan is rocked!
O Monagahan looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ross darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! O Monagahan's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Ross before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Barney Ross!
