Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zane Peltier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pasi Nurminen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peltier comes to the cage accompanied by Rockstar-Chamillionaire. This should be fireworks!

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nurminen closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Peltier did well to prevent Nurminen getting side control.
Nurminen tries to stand and escape but Peltier is controlling the position.
Nurminen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Peltier defends it well.
Peltier is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Peltier tries to get to full guard but Nurminen has control of the leg.
Nurminen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Peltier keeps working.
Peltier is looking to improve his position.

Nurminen slows the pace down in half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Pasi Nurminen.
Nurminen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Peltier, pushing him back against the cage.
Peltier wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Nurminen doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

A head punch blocked on the inside by Peltier.
Peltier drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Peltier blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Nurminen stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Nurminen lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Nurminen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nurminen misses with a takedown attempt - Peltier sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Nurminen tries to bum rush Peltier with a series of wild strikes but Peltier uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nurminen forces Peltier back against the cage and clinches.
Nurminen looking for a takedown.
Nurminen goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Nurminen lands an uppercut.
Nurminen swings wildly with an uppercut but Peltier uses good head movement to avoid it.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Peltier throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Nurminen stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Nurminen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Peltier is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Zane Peltier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pasi Nurminen.
Peltier displaying some good clinch control by pressing Nurminen up against the cage.
Peltier is trying to trip Nurminen. He has hold of a leg but Nurminen is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Peltier persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nurminen wants to stand and escape. He's got his foot on Peltier's hips, looking to push off. But Peltier grabs a hold of the leg and drops back for an ankle lock! It's hard to tell if he's got it. Both fighters look composed - OH, not anymore they don't! Nurminen screams like a kid who's trapped his fingers in the car door and taps out! Yikes, that must have hurt - hopefully it's not snapped anything!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Heel Hook). Zane Peltier!

Zane Peltier decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
