Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wacko Warner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wacko Warner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Hogan!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Hogan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hogan waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Warner.
Warner uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hogan.
Warner tries to close the distance and clinch but Hogan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Warner is looking to clinch.
Warner uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hogan.

Hogan pushes Warner up against the cage in a clinch.
Hogan throws an elbow that misses.
Hogan missing with knees to the body.
Warner blocking some punches.
Hogan tries to land knees in the clinch but Warner avoids the damage to the body.
Hogan has a couple of punches blocked by Warner.
Hogan gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Warner.

Warner successfully pulls guard.
Hogan wants to control from the top but Warner keeps moving.
Hogan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Warner is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hogan is controlling him.
Warner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Hogan is trying to maintain the position but Warner is very close to passing his half guard.

Warner seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Hogan wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Hogan is looking to clinch but Warner is avoiding it.
Hogan swats away the attempt to clinch by Warner.
Hogan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Warner has time to react.
Hogan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hogan misses with a head kick.
Warner tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hogan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Warner wants to clinch up but Hogan keeps it at a distance.
Warner is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hogan fails to land with a series of punches.
The fighters circling - Hogan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hogan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hogan is breathing heavily.
Warner shoots in but Hogan avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Warner tries to clinch but Hogan is having none of it.
Hogan throws a right hand that Warner ducks under and follows up with a left that Warner also avoids with ease.
Hogan is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
The fight stays on the outside here - Warner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Warner tries to close the distance and clinch but Hogan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hogan throws a looping overhand right but Warner ducks down to avoid it.

No joy there for Warner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Paul Hogan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hogan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

and Hogan moves into the clinch.

Warner ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Warner no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Hogan throws a strike but Warner rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Warner trying to control but Hogan is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Hogan manages to work his way to half guard, despite Warner's best efforts.

Warner works his way into side control.
Warner is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Paul Hogan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Warner misses with the ground and pound.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Warner advances to mount.

And that's the end of the fight!
Wacko Warner showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Warner, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
