Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Stinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Connor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connor looks to throw the jab but Stinger is out of range.
Stinger shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Connor as he avoids it easily.
Stinger tries for a takedown but Connor circles away easily
and Connor counters with a stiff right hand.
Stinger shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Connor counters with a left and a right that stings Stinger.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Freddy Stinger. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stinger shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Connor defends it nicely.
Stinger really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Connor drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Stinger is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Connor defends well.

Stinger looking for a triangle here. Connor is fighting it but it looks tight! Stinger pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Connor is tapping out - this one is all over!

After the fight, Freddy Stinger was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
