The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Anstey drops his hands momentarily and Drake takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Bunny Anstey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Drake is looking to clinch but Anstey is avoiding it.
Drake throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sloppy strikes from Drake. Those never looked like landing.

It looks like Bunny Anstey has been cut.
Drake stuffs the takedown.
Drake swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Anstey tries to pass the half guard into mount. Drake knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Drake misses with a few strikes there.

Anstey bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bunny Anstey overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Drake can't do much from the bottom here.
Anstey in side control, just content to control the action for now.

We're going to have a standup here because Bunny Anstey wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
