Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

26 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovrov throws a body punch but Taylor moves out of range.
Taylor takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Kovrov throws a leg kick but Taylor moved away.
Kovrov throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Kovrov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kovrov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Alexsandr Kovrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kovrov swinging wildly here.
Taylor throws a series of punches but Kovrov moves out of range.
Kovrov bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kovrov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Taylor getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Kovrov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Kovrov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kovrov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Taylor moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kovrov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Taylor throws out the jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Taylor avoids the head kick by Kovrov.
Taylor closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kovrov has had enough of the clinch but Taylor keeps him there for the moment.
Taylor pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kovrov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Taylor.
Taylor lands with a nice body punch.
Taylor ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The fighters circling - Taylor throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kovrov cracks Taylor with a right hand to the side of the head.
Kovrov misses with the combination.
Taylor thuds his right hand into Kovrov's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Taylor throws a shot to the body.
Taylor walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Taylor thows a body shot but no joy.
Kovrov gets in close and tags Taylor with a short punch that almost sends Taylor to the mat! Oh Taylor is in big trouble! He turns his back on Kovrov, trying to create some distance but Kovrov rushes him, striking wildly and Taylor goes down! The referee tackles Kovrov into the cage to end the fight! Kovrov is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexsandr Kovrov!
