The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson instigates a clinch.
Kennedy stalling in the clinch but Anderson improves position.
Anderson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kennedy backwards.
It looks like George Kennedy has been cut.
Anderson is leaning against Kennedy and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Kennedy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Anderson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kennedy keeps the fight on the outside.
Kennedy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Anderson lands a big head kick that sends Kennedy tumbling to the mat! Anderson takes a step backwards and waves Kennedy back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kennedy is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kennedy throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Anderson scores with a counter punch that sends Kennedy to the canvas! Anderson smells blood - he's punishing Kennedy with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Kennedy has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Anderson!
