Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Mellendrez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Idi Amin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark Mellendrez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Idi Amin!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amin fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Some wild striking there from Amin.
Mellendrez shoots for a takedown but Amin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Amin fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Mellendrez on the side of the head.
Mellendrez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Amin defends it nicely.
Amin scores with a decent looking hook.
It looks like Mark Mellendrez has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mellendrez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Amin tries to avoid it but Mellendrez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Amin to the ground. Amin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Mellendrez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mellendrez is looking to clinch but Amin is avoiding it.
Mellendrez has his takedown stuffed
and Amin makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Mellendrez is breathing heavily.
Amin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mellendrez sprawling to the canvas! Mellendrez rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Amin finish him?!
Mellendrez is rocked!
Amin feints and then cracks Mellendrez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mellendrez down.
Oh Mellendrez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Mellendrez. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Amin fakes the body blow, causing Mellendrez to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Mellendrez goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Idi Amin!
