Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between David Valadez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Jaso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valadez comes to the cage accompanied by Rock of ages. Jaso has chosen Hall of Fame as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valadez tries to work over Jaso's front leg with a kick but Jaso checks it.
Valadez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Valadez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Valadez lands a big shot there that rocks Jaso but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Jaso is desperately trying to improve his position but Valadez has a good base and remains in mount.
Jaso is trying to stand up.
Jaso is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Jaso tries to buck Valadez off but he can't manage it.
The referee warns Jaso that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Valadez looking to isolate an arm here. Jaso doesn't see it coming and as Valadez extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Valadez!
