The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Aldo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.
Aldo looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Gracie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Aldo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gracie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Gracie has hold of Aldo's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Aldo tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Gracie cranks the arm and Aldo screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Aldo, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
