Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thizin Pais (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barack Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thizin Pais! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Barack Bush! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bush shoots in looking for a takedown. Pais tries to sprawl out of it but Bush keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pais manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nice sprawl there from Pais as Bush shoots in. Bush shoots for a takedown but Pais saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Thizin Pais has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Barack Bush. Pais misses with a body shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bush. Pais missing with a left hand there. Bush was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A slow jab from Pais misses its intended target. Pais loads up on a big right hand but Bush slips the punch. Pais will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Barack Bush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pais throws a jab when Bush was well out of range.

Pais throws a right hand that Bush ducks under and follows up with a left that Bush also avoids with ease. Pais slaps away a takedown attempt from Bush, before circling back to the center of the mat. Pais throws a lazy right hand but Bush sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Pais displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bush.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bush shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pais is trying to defend but Bush finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Bush is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! This has been an exciting period of action! Pais tries to lock up and control but Bush gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Pais gets back to half guard. Bush wants to pass to mount but Pais is defending the position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Pais wants to improve his position but Bush is controlling well.

Bush shoots in for a takedown but Pais shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Pais lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Bush fails to land the takedown. Pais does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Bush shoots in but Pais avoids the takedown attempt easily. Pais loads up on a big right hand but Bush slips the punch. Nice sprawl there from Pais as Bush shoots in. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pais throws a head kick but Bush moves out of range.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Bush shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pais but Pais pushes him off and we're back to square one. Pais controlling the position well. Pais is defending against the submission attempts here by Bush.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pais moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Bush wants to pass the guard but Pais is keeping the position. Bush has gone for a leg lock! Pais slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bush's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pais trying to control the position from guard on top but Bush is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Thizin Pais dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

And that's the end of the fight! Thizin Pais showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pais, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
